The A Different Road CD is like a collection of short stories - each song has its own character and voice. The songs all hold together but are different enough in theme and style to keep your interest right to the last song. "Rocks and Bone" is probably the best and my next favorites actually come toward the end of the CD, starting with the title track. The music sounds great, the artwork is very cool, and I can't wait to hear Steve and the band play these songs live!

Permanent Red is by far one of the most diverse albums. Vansak, and his rocking band, deliver an excellent CD with something for everybody. The songwriting is way above average and a gem to have come out of the Midwest.
