Link Friends
- Anne McCue
- I met Anne McCue in Los Angeles, CA in 2003 and found her to
not only be incredibly personable, but a fantastic musician who
I'd love to have in my fantasy jam band. She can really "play
guitar like a ringin' a bell", as our friend Chuck Berry
once sang. Her latest album Roll proves she can write, sing and
make records just as well.
- Steepwater
- The Steepwater Band and I both played the Midwest Beat 2003
Music Awards show. It was there that I caught them live for the
first time. Their intensity that night was refreshing, as so many
acts these days will go through the motions, especially at shows
like this. Visit their site for a slightly different taste of
roots rock music.
- TimePeace
- Robby and Mary, the lead singers of TimePeace, sat in with my
band a couple of years back and tore the place up with some sweet
soul music. I didn't know their band at the time, but figured
it had to be good with singers/performers like this. I was right
and have danced to their latin grooves many times.
- Midwest
Beat - Midwest Beat is the premier entertainment magazine
in NW Indiana and the Chicago area. They are passionate in the
belief that live music, in all genres, is to be supported, celebrated
and promoted as the ultimate tool of expression.
- Night
Rock - If you want to hear some deep, classic rock album cuts
and/or some Midwest music acts, tune into 103.9 FM on Sunday Nights
when in the Chicago area. From 6pm - 7pm C.D.T., Tom Lounges and
Scotty Rosenberg take over the airwaves for their long running
Night Rock radio show.
- Little
Stevens - My main man, Little Steven Van Zandt exemplifies
what radio and it's DJ's should be like. In the 1980's, Steve
Van Zandt was the American version of The Clash and his politically
charged album Voice of America is a classic and should be playing
today, considering the current climate in the U.S.A. All this
and Bruce Springsteen's best friend and band mate.
- Artist
First Radio - These guys run a great radio station out of
Central Ohio that gets broadcast worldwide via the internet. It's
a great avenue for independent artists in all musical genres and
mediums. My February, 2003 interview can be heard in my Press
Room page.
- Willow
Tree Recording - A great little recording studio tucked away
in Kouts, IN and run by my friend Doug Lins. If you need a recording
spot with no distractions and an engineer/producer with a great
ear, check out Willow Tree Recording.
- Move
On - This political watchdog organization operates with relentless
passion and will not be denied their voice. Check out the hilarious,
yet thought provoking commercials made by Move On members, one
of which was disallowed airtime during the 2003 Super Bowl.
- Net
Music - Net Music carries both
of my albums via digital download. Songs can be purchased individually
or as whole albums.
